Workroom works with hospitality concepts before they open, once they are in motion, and at moments of change. Identity is not treated as something completed at launch. It's clarified at the beginning, tested through daily use, and carried forward as the business develops.

Before opening
An idea may be vivid but still dispersed across references, conversations and instincts. Workroom brings those parts into a coherent premise and language that operators, architects, designers and other collaborators can work from.

Already in motion
A venue or offering may have developed beyond the way it first understood or described itself. The work identifies what has become true through use, where its expression has fallen behind, and what now needs to be brought back into coherence.

At a point of change
A new location, evolving offer or shift in direction can alter how a place is understood. The work determines what should continue, what can evolve, and how change can remain recognisably connected to what came before.

How the work begins

Every project begins with the Identity Audit: a focused review of the venue, its existing materials, and the people closest to it. You do not need to arrive with polished answers or a finished brief. The knowledge held by you and your team is the starting material; Workroom leads the review, synthesis and development.

Each area of work is agreed before it begins, with a clear focus, timeline, fee and set of outcomes. The Audit stands on its own, and further work proceeds only by agreement. At every stage, you leave with a usable record of what has been understood, decided and recommended.

Where other creative or specialist partners are involved, the work provides a shared point of reference. Any execution beyond the agreed remit is identified early and commissioned separately.

Most projects are conducted remotely, with selective on-site time arranged when direct observation would materially strengthen the work. A written agreement confirming timing, payment, usage and cancellation is provided before work begins.
